I know its a bit early for homeschooling Charlotte (4 months old) but I do "mini" school with her everyday with books and the alphabet. I look forward to giving her a full education at home while maintaining her social wings with other homeschooling children. It will be a wonderful experience for the both of us. I look to St. Anne for inspiration, a mother that raised the greatest mother of all. Who better to look at for example.

10 Things In 10 Days

This idea is going around, and it just might help me get more done. I'll post on how I do.

1. Change bathroom exhaust fan
2. Change kitchen exhaust fan
3. Complete "Baby's 1st Christmas" and "Coming Home from Hospital" pages of Charlotte's scrapbook
4. Stock up on emergency supplies
5. Organize linen closet
6. Return calls I have not gotten to
7. Clean out the garage
8. Stain the sideboard in satin black
9. Find master bedroom drapes
10. Get in one hour of adoration at church

Ok, some of these are large so we will see how I do from April 8 - 17th :D)))

Butterflies

My collection from our travels around the world: The large one if from Peru (bought in Canada), the small one was bought in Dominican Republic, the large rectangular one was bought in Aruba along with the circular one. I cant wait to visit the butterfly conservatory at Niagara Falls again (which was amazing!) and add some Canadian butterflies to my collection.

Before and After - Dining Room

With the help of a new dining table and chairs (all in my favourite black satin stain), I have put the dining room together. The table has a glass top to protect the wood and our stereo sits in the corner. Im hoping to buy a black satin corner cabinet (once I find one)! That will complete the room.

When we moved in we had a pink room for a tween. Now we have a "Peter Rabbit" themed nursery for our little Charlotte.

Our New Home - August 2010

A Favourite Read

This has to be one of the best biographies ever written. St. Aloysius' story is told in such a way that one feels very close to him by the end of it. I happened upon his tomb in Rome when I was there three months after completing this book. He is great for granting favours. I prayed for a husband just like him and I met Nick five months later.

Amazing Movie - St. Rita

This was such an amazing, amazing movie. I cried so much, this was so well made. You can really feel the love for God that St. Rita had and my favourite quote comes from this movie. I would recommend buying it and watching it over the years.

15 Promises for Praying the Most Holy Rosary

1) Whoever shall faithfully serve Me by the recitation of the Rosary shall receive signal graces.

2) I promise My special protection and the greatest graces to all who shall recite the Rosary.

Our Lady of The Cape - Over The Years

My favorite church, which I have visited almost annually since childhood. Our Lady of The Cape located in Quebec, Canada.

The first picture was taken in September 2008 when Nick and I just became boyfriend and girlfriend.

The second picture was taken in 2009 when we went to the shrine and Nick surprised me with a proposal.

The third picture is taken in 2010 when we travelled to the Shrine and I am a few months pregnant.

In 2009, we promised Our Lady while at the shrine that if God were to bless us with a child, we would bring the baby here to her in thanksgiving. We now have Charlotte and we hope to make that trip summer 2011.
